The full moon in Taurus, November 2, may have you feeling a bit tired and in need of rest. Take things slow and steady in November's first week and find ways to give yourself a break. Ask for a little extra time, if anyone should torment you about deadlines. You won't be able to get more than a day or two, for the full moon will exert a strong flow for four days plus or minus on either side of November 2, but even two days may give you the breathing room you need. Don't run yourself down so far that you get the flu.

This has been a rough year for the mutable signs (specifically, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces), so you would be wise to cut yourself some slack. These signs were hit hard by the position of Saturn and Uranus, but happily, Saturn moved to a better place when it moved to Libra recently on October 29. In Libra, Saturn can now release you from many tensions.

The eclipses of July and August added pressure too, for they forced you to reinvent your financial situation, possibly from top to bottom and from inside out. You are now reexamining your relationship to money, including how best to earn more and how you can more wisely spend, invest, save, and loan money. Fortunately, this month will focus a lot on work, which is good news. If you don't have enough work, you may be able to find new, solid opportunities now, and if you are self-employed, it should be really easy to find more clients. If you work for others, it soon will become apparent you are the boss' pet, and the way your boss will show appreciation for your work is to give you even more work! Be glad! In this economy, you'll be in a strong position.

It may be hard to find a way to give yourself rest at the full moon, November 2. The demands on you to do more of what you do best - that is, to speak, write, or use other communication skills you have mastered - will be in demand. This month, no matter how fast you flip those pancakes (so to speak), it won't be fast enough to please everyone. Demands involving a publishing, Internet, or broadcasting project, or from academia, seem to be particularly heavy. All month you will be spinning dishes on a dozen red sticks, as only a Gemini can do. Any other zodiac sign would simply give up, but because you are so resourceful, adaptable, and flexible, you will find a way to keep those dishes whirling.

Thankfully, Mercury is not due to go retrograde until December 26 to January 16, but you will feel the delaying effects of Mercury as it approaches December 9. You would be wise to get your holiday shopping done no later than December 7, so that means starting now. If you put it off until the last minute, you will run into deep trouble, for Mercury will be sending out his little gremlins early in December, and you won't be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat as you often do at holiday time. Times have changed, and stores will be low on stock this year. If you can't find what you want in mid-December, you may wind up spending much more on gifts or on express shipping. Do yourself an enormous favor and begin now.

Neptune will turn direct on November 4, allowing your career to take off like a rocket. Previously I was talking about assignments, but your career status in the community is ruled by Neptune, for Pisces is found on the solar cusp of your tenth house of fame. You always make the most progress when Neptune is moving swiftly.

You have been hampered since the end of May when Neptune settled down for a nap, but doors will begin to open for you from now until May 31, 2010. Every year Neptune retrogrades for five months. Usually when a big planet like Neptune moves direct, you see results immediately in the days near the date it turns, in this case, November 4. Keep your ears open for good career news, and also a sign that things will be changing for the better. While all career news is due to make you happy, news about an international situation may stand out, or what you hear may involve publishing or broadcasting in some way.

After that, you may want to put a gold star on November 11 when Mercury, your ruler, will be in perfect angle to Uranus, a planet based in your tenth house of career status and prestige. This day may bring you a major career breakthrough or other professional news that's so special it will send sends tingles down your spine.

Another point in the month when surprise news will thrill you will include days that span from Friday, November 13, to Sunday, November 15. That's when the Sun and Uranus will be beautifully oriented, giving you a terrific career break. This could be a very special time of the month for elevating your status, so use these days to your full advantage.

One other date deserves special note - November 25 when something you did on the job is likely to bring you enviable publicity or praise. Venus will be in perfect angle to Uranus on this day, so the word about you will be quite special. It's sure to be a dazzling time for you! With Mercury in harmony with Mars too, you may be asked to appear on TV or the radio to discuss your work. Travel taken on November 25 or 26 should go really well, but will not go so well on November 30. Perhaps you can delay traveling until a day later.

You may assume you will be running out of fabulous aspects, but Mercury will signal Jupiter on November 29, so again you'll be in the pink. A partner or agent may give you access to a really special a foreign person or international opportunity. Alternatively, this day would be a fine one for visiting a college or for any interaction with college officials. This is a Sunday, so mark down November 27 and 28 as stellar, too.

Your tenth house, which we have been focused on so far, rules your career status and progress up the ladder of success, but your sixth house rules your day-to-day experience - the assignments you actually do. Let's turn our attention to that, for the new moon on November 16 will enliven your sixth house for two weeks.

After November 16, a juicy new project could come barreling your way quite out of the blue, much to your delight. Thanks to a lovely beam from Uranus, this job or assignment will come up from a source you least expect, so be ready. You won't have much time to roll!

If you work on commission and the job is creative in nature, you may have a disagreement over your proper compensation, due to a hard angle between Pluto and Saturn. The person you will be dealing with may be very insistent that you accept his or her terms, and you may be upset enough to resist the bossy demands. In another part of your chart, Saturn will be fairly friendly to the Sun and new moon in an out-of-sign sextile (considered an opportunity aspect). Bide your time and don't let anyone intimidate you. You may come up with a way to turn the tables to your favor. Go slowly and don't fold too quickly.

The same new moon, November 16, will focus you on health matters, and would be a good time to make appointments for routine checkups. You may want a flu shot, or to test your blood pressure, cholesterol, or hemoglobin, and if you are a woman, get your mammogram. It's also a good time to get your eyes checked and go to the dentist.

If you are eye phobic or fearful of a dentist, ask friends about their experiences. I used to be afraid to go to the eye doctor, because the puff test for glaucoma used to make me so nauseous I couldn't do it. Well, little did I know that they don't use that test anymore - there is newer and easier equipment to check your eyes that has been developed over the past three years that is very soft and comfy. Gee, I wish someone had told me.

Going to the dentist is not an uncomfortable experience either - methods have changed and you are likely to find your experience light years well from those that you had in the past. I never had problems with the dentist, but since I had with eye doctors, I checked with friends and found that one or two were fearful of dentists. If you have a friend who is staying away out of fear, offer the name of your friendly dentist and go with your friend. That could make a big difference. Offer to have lunch together after, too. Make it festive - you can be quite a fairy godmother to that friend in ways you cannot imagine.

I do feel the doctor or dentist's manner counts quite a bit, so ask friends for names and don't be afraid to try different ones until you find the professional who is right for you. It is important to go for checkups, so don't let fear keep you away. Later you will see how silly that was to do.

This same new moon that is encouraging you to take preventive measures and to have checkups to bolster your health can also be used to great advantage to start a new fitness plan. If you are not exercising, or had to drop out due to an injury, you can now find the right teacher / trainer / coach to get you back on the right path. Start just after the new moon November 16. Investigate your options early in the month so that you can act at mid-month. If money is a consideration, you can do things on your own if you are very disciplined, perhaps by picking up a few new DVDs.

Pets are a favorite subject of many readers, so when I see golden opportunity, I just have to bring up the subject! If you were thinking of getting a new pet for your household, or had hoped to pay more attention to the little furry creature you have now, the new moon November 16 would be an ideal time get going on that plan.

Go to the animal shelter or vet, or to buy your little pet some new toys or supplies. The sixth house rules small domestic animals of all kinds, and with Uranus providing such a shimmering, golden beam to the Sun and new moon, your efforts should be easily rewarded. A friend may offer you their little dog or cat if your friend is moving, for example, or if their dog had a litter of cute little puppies. If you always wanted a dog, consider your friend's offer "meant to be." If you don't want the responsibility of a new pet, you would be able to find someone who does, and that friend or family member would be very grateful.

This month is more about work and health than romance, but you will have some special days.

In matters of love, you are becoming more discriminating. Saturn just entered your fifth house of love, cautioning you to get to know any person you date well before entering into a full-blown relationship. Your new romantic interest may live in another city or be older than you. Be careful however, for there is one other possibility, that you're new sweetheart may not be fully available, a detail that may not be revealed to you initially. Your new lover may still be married, or may be single or separated but still pining over a past love. Saturn, now in your fifth house, won't prevent love to bloom, but will ask you to go slowly.

The best revenge from having been treated unfairly by management or a client is to trump everyone's expectations in your new - next - career incarnation. You've been on a career and money rollercoaster ride since the eclipses of July and August and at times it's been scary. Keep holding on, for a kind universe is about to push you forward and soon will bring you the right opportunity, one that will allow you to completely reinvent yourself.

It will be a pleasure to gain status and then be able to laugh at the people who underestimated you. Jupiter is currently on a mission to arrive at your tenth house of fame and honors on January 17 for a full year (there is a brief period in the summer when Jupiter won't be there, but he will help you in other ways, so you won't miss out on any of Jupiter's goodies.) You will have a major career victory to announce in the first three months of 2010, so keep that news in your pocket and let it inspire you. You will want to be situated in your new career by mid-January to take full advantage.

This month you may get a lovely shot of publicity or praise on November 25 when Venus and Uranus will be beautifully angled. People will be excited about the work you've been doing and you will find that others support you wholeheartedly then.

In November, pay attention to your health - you may be feeling tired near the full moon November 2. With flu season underway, you cannot be too careful. Ask your doctor if you should have a swine flu shot and regular flu shot, too. If so, get an appointment. If your doctor feels vitamins would be a good idea, then don't delay - get them. Do all you need to stay strong in November. A new assignment, possibly from a foreign country, may come up within days after the new moon in Scorpio on November 16. Now that Neptune is moving full speed ahead on November 4, there's even more energy to be centered on the part of your chart ruling global relationships. It appears that as part of this project you may need to examine facts or figures that have been hidden, perhaps for a piece you'll write on a celebrity or political figure. Financial markets, the medical profession, or a civic project may alternatively be the focus of your study. Scorpio rules sex too, so with a new moon in this sign, you may, alternatively, be writing quite a steamy novel. With Venus in your workaday house, this is going to be a project that you'll be eager to begin again each morning.

If you've been turned down lately for a loan or mortgage, or were offered too little back in an insurance claim, or if checks that you expect from others have run late (as a few examples), help is on the way. With Saturn in your house of romance, you are becoming very discriminating, practical, and realistic about the type of romantic partners you should date in the future. This might mean changing your qualifications, or it might mean seeing the other person's qualities more clearly. Saturn will work with you in the coming months and years, until 2012, to help you learn a great deal about yourself and the nature of love.

If you are considering having children, it may take you a bit longer to conceive than you had anticipated. Saturn in the fifth house will always bring a delay, but it may be for a wide variety of reasons. If you have had problems with conception, don't delay in seeing a fertility doctor. You will have a golden opportunity for a breakthrough in April through July, but you will have had to have tests now to locate the problem first.

If you have children, one of them, most likely your eldest, will need your tender loving care and support in months ahead as this child might enter a bumpy patch.

Witness what happens on November 25 for proof, when your boss sends out a memo on your fine work, or the press comes knocking and you land major publicity.
