As November opens, you may feel a new sense of peace. Saturn has officially left Virgo, and although this tough love planet will be back in April for a 14-week stint, you will now enjoy a newfound sense of confidence and strength. You should feel proud, dear Virgo. You've walked the gauntlet and met many challenges. You may have suffered health difficulties, relationship nightmares, and a whole range of other situations you probably never thought you would have to face. Now you may feel like Jack the Giant Killer. You are wiser, more practical, and more resourceful than when you started this phase back in September 2007. When Saturn is done in July 2010, you won't see him in Virgo again until 2036.
There is nothing you cannot conquer now, dear Virgo. Saturn always leaves a gift by the door after he is finished with his stay, but technically it won't be over until he returns from April 7 to July 21, 2010. No matter - your excellent reward, spiritual or material, is on the way and will be carefully chosen by a loving universe to delight you. You'll see it immediately when it arrives and you won't be wondering if this may be it - it will come when you least expect it. Celebrate, dear Virgo - a whole new life will soon unfold.
This month travel will be a big focus. In fact, you are likely to be away more in November than you will be in December. Within days of the full moon, November 2, you may be returning home from a distant trip, likely taken for business. This full moon will have plusses and minuses. If you are trying to reach accord with another party, you may find it hard to accomplish. The pattern in the sky will present a grand fixed cross, indicating lack of cooperation. You are a flexible person, so when faced with a difficult person, you often find an alternative route, a talent you have that allows you to avoid problems. If the situation looks tough, keep in mind that you will make good progress in the second half, so keep plugging.
If you were born on September 2, plus or minus four days, you will feel the effects of this full moon the most and likely be able to make things work for you.
The new moon November 16 will open another door for travel, possibly quite suddenly, but this time your travel will be closer to home and more likely be taken for personal or romantic reasons or to see family. If you like, you may even buy a car, a good time to do so.
When it comes to shopping, whether for holiday gifts or expensive items for yourself, you should shop now - not in December. Mercury will go retrograde from December 26 to January 16, but you will feel the confusing, frustrating effects of Mercury retrograde as soon as December 9. Because Mercury rules communication, negotiation, travel, buying and selling, as well as moving parts in machines, you will want to avoid shopping after December 9. You may buy a product you find you never use or ever liked, have problems with items in stock, send it to the wrong address, or see it arrive damaged or late. These problems are common when Mercury retrograde is at play. If you want to make a big hit with your recipients, you will need to shop now.
Mars is now in Leo, so it seems you may notice you crave a bit more privacy and rest. You will enjoy your own company this month - good! If you can, duck out of town to enjoy a change of scene. You may also be around medical personnel this month, either because you will have a procedure or are recovering from an injury. No matter - it's a good time to take care of these concerns. It's also possible you are helping to care for someone who is in the hospital or was just recently.
In the two weeks following the new moon in Scorpio on November 16, you may get exceptional opportunity in publishing, broadcasting, or at a university. If you have ever wanted to write for a magazine, think of a good story idea and send the editor a carefully crafted query letter. Apply for a broadcasting job or submit a screenplay. You may design a website, buy a smart cell phone or computer, or do something else that is oriented toward communication. If you are in sales, you may make a big sale to a major client.
This new moon would also be the perfect time to have your logo designed. If you don't have a business but love personal stationery, as I do, you can order personal note paper with your initials beautifully engraved on the 100 percent rag paper. (To me, nothing matches a personal handwritten note on superb paper. Perhaps you feel the same way.)
Pluto will be in very hard angle to Saturn throughout the month, the start of a trend that will be at play for a while. These two will reach apex at November 15, but truly, they will be within significant mathematic orbit all month. This means you will have to watch spending, especially in regard to a creative project. The client may be screaming to hold down costs. Even though you feel the expenditures are necessary, if the client doesn't see the value in those costs, you have little choice but to cut back, even if you feel the product suffers. Don't you always hate that when it happens? I sympathize, dear Virgo.
Romantically, you may have had a very hard time with a close relationship. (Actually the house that has been under siege also rules business relationships, so it could have been one or the other, but hopefully not both types!) If you were born late in your sign, say, near September 14-21, you are still feeling Uranus opposed to your Sun, a once-in-a-lifetime event that can be quite jarring for health or relationships. Hang in there, for Uranus will temporarily leave in mid-2010 and finally leave for good in 2011.
Still, with Neptune, the ruler of your house of partners, moving ahead on November 4, your relationship should improve or you will finally leave it (which may be why I see you less stressed about it). Neptune has been out of phase since May 29, but from now on, you will have an open road.
Venus will be in Scorpio, another very compatible place for you to host Venus, from November 7 to December 2. One day when Venus will be in a bubbly mood will be November 25, a lovely night for romance if there were ever was one! With Venus signaling Uranus, you'll have it made.
Mercury will be quite active this month, and that's good new for you, for Mercury is your ruler - that means these good aspects count double for you! Your first splendid day, for just about anything, but especially the generation of new ideas, will be November 11 when Mercury will signal surprise-a-minute Uranus. This day deserves a gold star for happy coincidences and happenings in love, too.
Your favorite weekend will likely come over November 14-15, with the fun starting Friday evening, November 13, when Uranus will send a dazzling beam to the Sun. This would be a wow of a weekend to travel, especially with a partner.
Mercury will send a wink to Mars on November 26 and to Jupiter on November 29, all terrific dates. All in all, you have a month dotted with some lovely days. You've been through the valley, dear Virgo, but you are beginning your ascent to the mountaintop in January.
Summary
From now on, life will start to become far easier than it has been over the past year. Saturn, the taskmaster planet, has finally left Virgo. You were under extraordinary stress lately, and although Saturn is not responsible for all of it, he was a major contributor. September was especially difficult, and if you were born September 14-22 or had planets in late degree of Virgo, then it may have even been a nightmare. Now, you'll have sweet relief. Your health will improve as well as your spirit, and life won't seem so uphill. Saturn will come back for a short 14-week period April 7 through July 21, 2010, but after that you'll be done with his testing phase until 2036.
Of course, Saturn has to go somewhere, so he will now move into your second house of earned income. You may have to work harder for your salary than you have in the past, for you may find employers a bit tightfisted in the coming two-to-three years. Honestly, however, considering what you've just come through, the coming period will be a breeze. You are naturally analytical, so you can find ways to cut back on areas you don't care too much about and find new sources to develop over the coming months.
Admittedly, if you were born near the end of Virgo, in the week of September 17-22, you will still have pesky Uranus to contend with for a little while, but even he will let you rest once he moves into Aries in mid-2010. While Uranus will retrograde back and forth from Aries to Pisces until he settles in Aries for good in 2011, you're about to see the light at the end of the tunnel - a stressful phase that begin way back in 2003 is about to come to a close.
In mid-October, Mars moved into your twelfth house for a long, eight-month stay. As a result, in coming months, you will rediscover the joys of being alone where you can nurture your creativity. You may work on a writing project, or do something with your hands - such as sewing, carpentry or fashion design, calligraphy, gardening, flower arrangement, cooking - or get involved in any other creative project. In coming months, your imagination will take flight and your intuition will be very strong. Your greatest satisfaction will occur from what you bring out from within.
Travel will be written all over your chart in November. You may be returning from a successful trip within four days of November 2, and then later in the month, you may travel again after the new moon appears, November 16. The latter part of the month will bring shorter trips, but they will be very welcome, as Venus will follow the Sun quite closely at that time. If you had problems getting agreement on a plan in early November, you may find the right solution in the second half, so keep trying.
In the second half of the month, you seem to travel for rest, to enjoy the company of a family member, or to enjoy nature. It is also possible you will need to hop a train or get in your car to go see someone close who is in the hospital and who will be so happy to see you! Your chart also shows you'll be quite spontaneous about traveling - good!
Dates to Note:
Travel may be finishing up on the full moon, November 2, plus or minus four days.
More travel could be due at the new moon, November 16 plus two weeks. You may travel for a variety of reasons - for business, to see family, or to allow for quality time with your one and only. You may also travel a short distance to see someone in the hospital.
A really wonderful time to travel for romantic reasons will be November 25, which just happens to be the day prior to Thanksgiving.
Neptune's turn direct on November 4 will help you find freelance jobs if self-employed, doubly so if you work in the creative or digital field. If you work for others, you'll still find that jobs will go smoother and better.
If you need to sign a contract, proceed, but realize that Mercury will retrograde again in late December. Get your agreement finished sooner rather than later. Best day to sign: November 13 or 14, thanks to the Sun in perfect angle to Uranus.
Most romantic dates: November 2-4, 7, 14, 20, 24-26, and 29.
